Kajabi Payments Europe: What You Need to Know

In 2019, I launched the first version of Linktopay, a payment connection built specifically for Kajabi users in Europe. Back then, it was already a powerful platform for online businesses, but it lacked essential payment options for European users—particularly iDEAL and Bancontact in the Netherlands and Flanders.
Kajabi only supported credit card payments, and there was no indication that this would change. Recognizing the need for a seamless solution, I developed LinktoPay, the first and only tool that fully integrates European payments within Kajabi.
Now, times are changing. Kajabi Payments Europe has officially launched in early 2025, aiming to provide a native payment solution for European users. But does this mean the end for LinktoPay? Not quite.

The Missing Pieces in Kajabi Payments Europe
While Kajabi Payments Europe brings a lot of improvements, it doesn't support European payment methods like iDEAL, Bancontact, and Sofort. In the beta version the receipts were also very limitied. i would love to see a downloadable pdf and also the option to send the pdf to my accounting software by email. If you want to integrate with external software, it must be done through Zapier or with complicated webhooks. This can be done much easier.

When Will Kajabi Add iDEAL & Bancontact?
Kajabi has yet to announce an official timeline for adding iDEAL or Bancontact. Since credit cards remain more profitable for them, it’s unclear if or when they’ll prioritize local European payment methods. Until then, LinktoPay continues to be the best solution for Dutch and Belgian users.
Final Thoughts: Should You Use Kajabi Payments Europe?
Kajabi Payments Europe is an excellent choice if your customers primarily use credit cards, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. However, if your audience relies on iDEAL or Bancontact, you’ll need to stick with LinktoPay—at least for now.
